The Current MISS VERMONT USA®

Kelsey Golonka, 22, of Montpelier, Vermont and Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse took the title of Miss Vermont USA 2022. The daughter of Tom and Cindi Golonka, this Montpelier native is a graduate of Montpelier High School and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She is a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. In addition to public appearances and her busy work schedule, she will be preparing for the Miss USA national competition later this year.


Our 2022 Competition

GDB Theatre & Pageant Production, LLC is proud to announce that on Sunday, March 27, 2022, seven confident women competed for the title of Miss Vermont USA 2022. Kelsey Golonka was crowned by Joanna Nagle, Miss Vermont USA 2021, at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe, VT. Contestants were judged in three categories consisting of Personal Interview, Swimsuit, and Evening Gown. The competitions shined a spotlight on some of the best, brightest, and most accomplished young women throughout the state. She was joined by 1st runner up- Jenna Howlett; 2nd runner up- Lexia Gillette. Miss Photogenic award was awarded to Kelsey Golonka. While the congeniality award was voted on by all the contestants, it was awarded to Halley Riley-Elliott.

Titleholders travel throughout Vermont, making appearances and acting as ambassadors of the state at a variety of charitable events, social functions, and more.
